Chalet a Vail

“We absolutely loved our stay in the Apres Chalet. The place is so well appointed. Very clean. Great furniture and fittings that tie to the vail location. Beautiful sunset views. Also such easy bus access to the vail village so no need to drive after having fun in the village. All instructions were 100% clear with no issues on entering or leaving. Adam is a great host with a ton of recommendations that helped maximize our time there. Loved the place. Only wish we could have stayed longer.”

“We had 11 family members ranging in age from 25 to 92. Fantastic house with 2 separate living areas and kitchens. Very warm and comfortable. Also the bus stop is right at top of drive which was great for our elderly parents. Would definitely stay here next year”

“Fantastic property. Perfect for a large group. Very clean and well appointed. We came in the fall, but if you ski, this place is worth it. You will need to bring things if you're cooking (foil, ziplocks, etc.) We would totally stay here again. We had a broad age range and it was perfect.”

“I was not happy with the living situation. The house we stayed in looks nothing like the pictures. It’s older and more outdated. The beds felt like you were sleeping on concrete floors. Some kids even chose floor over bed. The bunk room listed is way way nicer than what is there. The staff was always nice. I just don’t think it fair to spend that kind of money thinking you are getting one thing. Then you get something that’s a lot less than what you were expecting. Still I was charged the same...

“Very nice lodge-type condominium, clean and comfortable, great shower, great breakfast. Only downsides were the kitchen countertop was crowded with a second microwave, and I wished the small bag of coffee grounds indicated the weight so I would know how much water to add. ”

“Staff were wonderful. Apres Ski was very busy on Friday night, Apr 5.....NCAA tournament. Beers were excellent, staff was quick food was OK. $130 gets you 2 16 oz Vail Brewing beers, 2 topo chicos NA, fries, crab salad sandwich loaded with mayo, medium plain salad, pork green chile stew (kindof). Health center is huge. Everything is aged. 200/night was a great price for vail. Right on the shuttle route. Doubletree highline was the same price for a room. But nothing else was less than 350. “The condo was great for our family of five. The location was amazing and the shuttle to Vail was very convenient. Pool and hot tubs were great. We would provide feedback that the mattresses could use an upgrade, and the shower in the first floor bathroom did not work. Otherwise we loved our stay.”
