“Only waffles for breakfast water from the second door running down the wall in our room”

“Only heated pool in Hellen that was not hot. More like Luke cold. Mattress need to be changed out.”

“I loved the fact that the Lodge is located next to Hamilton Gardens, a beautiful collection of rhododendrons and other ornamental shrubs. The Gardens attracted a lot of birds, and I sent daily bird lists to eBird.”

“The staff there were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was adequate and the coffee was good. My room smelled musty and was a bit dated but not bad. Saw a herd of deer in the property next to the hotel”

“Everything was good !!”

“The room was very clean and quaint. Perfect space for our stay. The Holliss's were very hospitable and attended to every need. I highly recommend doing breakfast. Great food and the company is a mix of people from all over. You get to meet and greet everyone and truly get a home feel while enjoying a fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Great stay!”

“We loved the location of the resort. It is important that we find places that are pet friendly and have places that allow getting out with your pet. We were very pleased with Dahlonega for this. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small with limited counter space but that is to be expected with old style rooms. We were there during the week and unfortunately unable to sample meals. A special thank you to Candace who happened by to open the gift shop so we could purchase wine...

“Loved the hot tub”

“Me encantó todo muy limpio la decoración hermosa muy acogedora, solo que está un poco retirado de Helen pero el lugar lo recomiendo mucho 100%”

“Rob at the service desk was wonderful. We needed to make a last-minute change and he was gracious and helpful and did it for us. He was very friendly. He made sure we got what we needed. The room was very nice. Parking was easy. Breakfast could’ve used some help, but it was still nice. The property was very nice. I would stay there again given the opportunity.”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to Helen, but quieter, especially during Oktoberfest. Bed was super comfy as well as the pillows.”
