“It was a short getaway from London and we were looking for a Hotel that is close to Peak District. The hotel truly met our expectations. Its a very nice property and so close to Peak district. There are a few restaurants around the Hotel + the amenities in the Hotel were nice. We enjoyed swimming, sauna, hot/cold room, game of paddle, walk around the park etc. Would definitely recommend this to others”

“Modernised rooms, great spa and golf facilities. Plenty of space. Room servicing required attention. We stayed 3 nights and the room wasn’t serviced on any day noting we paid the same for each day we expected the room to look and feel clean each day. Dirty Coffee cups and glasses were left and whilst towels were replaced once (which was fine) the servicing lacked attention to detail. ”

The room decor is a bit outdated with paint coming off on the windows, the corridors had clean and dirty linen piled up on the window sills, there were dirty cups just left in the corridor, a ladder seemed to be a permanent feature! When we arrived at 3:45 we were told our room wasn’t ready but that quickly changed when I said we needed to get ready and be out within the hour. Rubbish water pressure made showering tricky. “My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Shrigley hall and it was the perfect getaway for us. The hotel is absolutely stunning, outside and in. We also bought access to the spa (which is separate to booking the hotel room), and that was a great experience for us as we enjoyed the various pools, hot tubs, steam rooms etc. and the bar that was attached to it.”

“Le camere sono grandi, spaziose e ben tenute, il personale è davvero molto cordiale e disponibile. Ottimo il ristorante. Trovandosi giusto dietro l'aeroporto, è perfetto per chi ha un volo molto presto oppure una coincidenza il giorno successivo. Di fronte alla struttura è disponibile un grande parcheggio. Unico neo: la navetta per l'aeroporto è disponibile sino a metà mattina ed in tarda serata, poi bisogna necessariamente prendere un taxi ma il costo della corsa è di sole 6,00 £.”

“mi hanno assegnato una camera freddissima, la finestra, nonostante non si potesse aprire, faceva passare tanta aria ovviamente gelata e aveva un insonorizzazione pessima (sembrava di stare in mezzo alla pista di atterraggio!). Mi sono lamentato con la reception, mi hanno inviato in camera un termosifone elettrico portatile che non è stato minimamente sufficiente. Ieri sera per scaldarmi ho dovuto fare un bagno caldo in vasca da bagno. Assolutamente non all'altezza di un 4 stelle. ”
