It was very peaceful and quiet. We had a problem with not being able to work the TV, we contacted reception. The staff member came up immediately and fixed it for us a straightaway. “Check in took forever for them to find a key, the blanket on the Queen bed had what I *hope* was a thick chocolate stain. There was a melted lolly(?) on the floor that I only saw when I stepped in it, and a cockroach on the wall during the night that I had to kill. And the smells! The room had a terrible odour, and the spray fragrance in the hallway was so strong I literally had to breath through my jumper when leaving the room at all. “The bush room was very comfortable and I'm sorry we weren't able to see it in the daylight as I think the views from the little outside balcony would have been brilliant. (arrived late and off before dawn for the Anzac service). A little care to be taken going down the steps to use the bathroom in the main house, (as I said it was dark) but otherwise all good and suited our needs. Thankyou to Grant for picking us up at the station as the train was very delayed.”
