Hotel a Golconda

“Older property but very nicely renovated.”

“Owner is super nice, the hotel is always clean and the breakfast is actually very generous. I've stayed multiple times and will continue to do so when I'm driving through.”

“While the room was adequately clean , there were areas in the hotel that were visibly dirty and worn. No ice. No diet sodas. Entrance very hard to see at night.”

“Coming in at night the GPS had us lost but a phone call got us in the right place. The room was spacious and balcony was nice. The beds were a bit small for us as we prefer queen to king size. Michelle at the front desk was nice. We were most pleased with how quiet it was. But we were disappointed with the cleanliness. The bathtub needed to be cleaned and they give you used bath soap and shampoo. Sadly, the place needs to be better described on Expedia so you can see exactly what you booked. We...

“Room smelled of smoke, water pipes were loud and noisy. We heard the family above us running across the floor until late at night. Staff who checked us is was also the only one working the next morning to check out and keep the breakfast bar filled.”

“Quick overnight stop on travels. Easy to find and be on our way the next day.”

“Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. We slept well. I rated staff 3 as we only had interactions with 1 staff person who couldn't answer questions because "I don't live here". He didn't offer any help at all about places to have dinner. We only saw this staff person at check in and didn't see any other staff at any time. Check out was accomplished by placing key cards in a box. We did not have breakfast.”

“We had to wait several (10+) minutes both at check-in and check-out for someone to come to the front desk. They were nice once they got there, but it clearly wasn't staffed properly. Cleaning or kitchen people noticed us standing and went to find or call someone to come to the front desk. So kudos to the non-front desk people. The "bold" coffee at breakfast was extremely weak. The printout of local restaurants given to us at the front desk was nearly unreadable. The room itself was nice.”
