Hotel a Grand Detour

“The room was very nice. My dog found a tooth picker just under the side of the bed. We are lucky he brought it too us. He could of swallowed it and caused a foreign body. The bath tub was exteremly slippery both me and my husband slipped in the tub. On line its says pet $15 per pet but was charged $25 per pet.”

“The room was clean but the back of the bathroom door had dirty dog foot prints on it and the bathtub had a dark ring around it. The creamer at the morning breakfast bar was not bad but the shelf stable cream was curdled in the container. The property was under construction and that would have been nice to know ahead of time but we did not hear any noise from that during our stay. The pool and pool area was great, so fun for the kids. “This is such a great place to go to unplug for a few days! There is WiFi, but it is not fast, which is exactly what we were looking for! We stayed three nights and did not leave the grounds. The restuarant is open for breafast, lunch, and supper, and there is a small fridge in each cabin. The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly; we happened to be there during a winter storm, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable.
