“We enjoyed our stay while visiting Columbus Junction. The hotel is a bit dated, as can be expected in such a small town. But the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was very kind and thoughtful. We would definitely stay again. ”

“The owner was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. The house was very clean, more than enough towels/sheets/pillows, and bedding even smelled really good (bonus). The outside area was clean, well maintained, and quiet. Overall, we would certainly revisit this house and area.”

“The house was a cute little house. It was a quaint little house in a quiet town. The house was super clean and well kept up. Kris had thought of a lot of little amenities and placed them in the house. For example, she had some toothbrushes set out in case somebody forgot theirs. She also had some bug spray and a citronella candle out for someone if they wanted to sit outside. So the bugs wouldn't bother them. The river was only approximately one block from the house. So if you wanted to go see...

“Loved how clean this place was. It says it sleeps 5 but all 3 of my kids wanted to sleep in the living room area so really it sleeps like 8-10 haha! The host was extremely responsive and helpful. There’s a cute little playground steps away so the kids got to play. 10/10”

“the event center is in the process of development, with construction workers and miscellaneous characters running about. The cabins are almost brand new (business est 2021) and they are continuing to build more cabins. The cabins all sleep 4+ people, but the interiors would be cramped for more than 2 because of the smaller appliances and plumbing installed. They utilize window AC/heater units that are really loud and located right next to the main bed...woke me up every time it kicked in!...

“This was the first time we had ever stayed in a cabin.. we found it to be clean, stocked and well kept upon arrival.. we loved every minute of our experience… we will most definitely be planning return trips I found the host to be very informative with quick response time.”

“Walking in the door to the sound of a voice calling out "Cheri is that you?" set the tone for what proved to be a most pleasant stay. Brenda has put her heart and soul into this BnB and it shows in every way. Breakfast was a full, delicious buffet, the room was so comfortable I was asleep in minutes, and the menagerie of critters is a real treat. Brenda makes everyone feel comfortable and genuinely cares about ensuring they have a terrific experience. I'd return to Iowa just to stay here......

“We weren't sure what to expect and gosh were we blown away! The property is so quiet and so well tended. The pool was still open, warm and the cleanest I've ever been in. Cabin was equally clean and very cozy. All items we needed to cook were already there and the beds comfortable. We look forward to coming back.”
