“This felt like a luxury apartment with a private onsen, large tv and bbq. The location itself is near a train station and several bus stops. Please be aware that this property is on a mountain so getting to those might stretch your calf muscles. Lovely location!”

“The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was beautiful and so was the view. We really enjoyed the forest private bath, and if we’d stayed longer we would have also tried the mountain view bath. We found that the meals offered plenty of food - bordering on too much for us. We would have liked the option to pick what we wanted to eat from the days menu rather than take every dish. ”

“If I can sum it up in one word…. ‘Wow!’ This hotel was amazing. I booked a Japanese style room on the upper floor of the west wing with a private onsen. The room was spacious, clean and really comfortable beds. Sitting in the onsen and having a ‘cold drink’ with the views was amazing. The hotel staff was excellent on check- in and check-out. Dinner and breakfast service was also excellent.”
