“Good clean room”

“The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the welcome was friendly. But, we were nevertheless underwhelmed by our experience at The Queen’s Head. Dinner was okay although my partner did not enjoy his at all. The room wasn’t as clean as it could have been and there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling which didn’t inspire confidence in the cleanliness in general. “Check in for this property was at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the same street. I parked in their car park for 10 minutes to check in. For this I received a parking fine, which unbelievably has been upheld despite my providing the details of my reservation and their own record of my being in the car park for 10 minutes. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled...
