“Hard to describe how much we loved this charming cottage near the beach! The location was terrific, everything was within walking distance: super convenient to the beach, 5 min walk to the Santa Monica Pier, 15 min walk to Venice and nearby restaurants and shops (just up and down the street). The house was very clean, quiet and well kept and had everything you need for a comfortable stay: the attention to detail was amazing. Parking permits were a major plus. “Such a beautiful place to visit and the cherry on top is the Starfish Cottage. The atmosphere and comfort of the cottage made our vacation our best trip yet. The beach was just steps away. They have a spot to rinse off and beach towels for comfort. The hosts also have all the lowdown on the hot spots for food, shopping, surfing, and travel. We will be returning. ”

We saw a bobcat, heard the frogs at night, and loved the Mountain View’s. This location is close enough to conveniently travel into the city and far enough away to feel free from busy city life. “I had such a great stay here. Lovely having a fully equipped kitchen to be able to cook. I got to bike and rollerblade on the boardwalk, read in the hammock, and explore Redondo Beach, including the Thursday farmer’s market. I’d love to return here in the future. Terrific deal for the price; such a special place. ”

“We loved our stay in this impeccably decorated cottage suite. The yard is beautiful and the neighborhood is clean and safe. The bed was so comfortable and the furnishings beautiful. The huge walk in shower was an extra bonus after a dip in the spa. I enjoyed lounging on the patio during the day. The kitchen is well stocked and having the washer and dryer was really nice. “We didnt need to contact the hostess. Her thoughtfulness was on display. There was no stray dog hairs or dust bunnies. The place was very clean. There were many amenities like dog bags and treats, ear plugs and other assundries that one many have forgotten during packing. Our large 1500 truck fit within the gate and was not visible from the alley, which was a pleasant bonus.”

“This house was filthy & very poorly maintained. Grime on walls, dishes, floors and pool. We paid extra to have pool heated and clean, but when we arrived, it was cold and had days of debris in it. There was food on the deck, around the fire pit and sitting area. The palm tree lighting is hanging at toddler height that could easily become entangled around child’s neck. Zero maintenance on the trees with dead tree palms hanging and falling to the deck. Don’t bring your kids here! No...
