“Room was excellent - great staff”

“My only complaint about this hotel is trying to find it. Due to property ownership signage is abysmal and it is very difficult to find even with GPS. ”

“The WiFi was spotty but the room was clean and comfortable!”

“The front desk worker was sleeping and we waited 30 mins to get any service. The bathroom had a stopper In front of the tub and it hurt when you stepped down. The house guess was rude. Breakfast was awful the meat was cold and hard, juice was very watered down. There was a worker sitting in the area and was talking loud and rude to my children.”

“Everyone should experience several nights at The Altland House. It's truly a special place. Our room was an "interior" room and we heard no traffic. Real for keys!! The brewery in the basement and the restaurant on the main level were superb. ”

“Well the place was clean and the breakfast in the morning helps save a few dollars. When we stayed here the pool was closed and our shower did not drain well. By the time you were done you were standing in at least 3 inches of water, this was our only complaint.”

“This hotel is showing it's age: dining room furniture (all wooden) showing ruñ marks and scratches, dining room waste cabinets and door filthy; room couch seat cushion not much "cushioning"; bathroom small for a "suite". Room cleaning is by daily request which I didn't know until 3rd day of 4 day stay.”

“Very pleased with my stay with the exception of being woken up at 4am by what sounded like a vacuum and house keeping preparing a room. I did call the front desk and they had it cease immediately.”

“Personale svogliato. Solo al check-in con due operatori ho atteso 20 minuti perchè Lei doveva “sistemare delle carte” e lui non era disponibile. Alla colazione, 15 minuti di attesa per sedersi, entriamo e la sala era quasi vuota. Ho chiesto da bere, me ne sono andato a prendere in cucina. Ho chiesto del latte caldo per i bambini, sono andato a scaldarlo al microonde vicino alla reception. Tutto questo per la modica cifra di 17 $ a persona. Vergognosi. ”

“Charming Civil War era hotel in fantastic historic location. Clean with helpful staff. The mini split did not cool the room adequately, but the windows open and there was a ceiling fan!”

“Ok renovations made the feel and environment look inviting staff was pleasant breakfast was great (hot food) Let’s talk about the bed eh!!! Our room mattress was substandard (not awful) but much to be desired. Walls of our room were paper thin we heard every peep from room on either side and the family above felt like they were coming thru the ceiling (not the family’s fault they weren’t doing jumping jacks or running around) Toilet ran all night handle kept getting stuck Location was perfect...
