“We didn't have any problems checking in. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind even though our check in was after 10:00. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very basic and outdated. The shower head was literally sticking out of a hole in the wall. The chairs in the room were very wobbly and felt like they would break at any amount of weight. We did enjoy the stay, however. It was good for the price. ”

“The owner was so sweet and they left us the sweetest note. For the most part it was quiet, we saw a few raccoons which was fun and the lodge cause a cute vintage charm. Just outside of the city with a location easy to get to and from every where. I HIGHly recommend staying if you want to stay in a time capsule.”

“The staff is SUPER nice and helpful. The motel is convenient to everything in the area. Very reasonable rates. CLEAN. COMFORTABLE. One can’t really ask for much more. There’s no pool and they don’t have room service that will bring you oysters on the half shell and Dom Perignon at 2 in the morning, but I use neither. It’s a simple 3 S’s kind of place. EXACTLY what I need.”

“The staff were amazing. When they found out we needed a rollaway they moved us to a building that had the most comfortable ones. The front desk staff were super friendly. They gave us recommendations for dinner, helped us figure out how to get downtown, and navigate everything! Above and beyond. When we pulled up I was a little hesitant. But, this was beyond great! I would stay here every time!”

“Great central location. Alex at the front desk was super helpful with our room accommodations and with helping us plan our visit around town. The hotel is of course old (1905) but is charming and well maintained, our bed was very comfortable and we had a nice jacuzzi bathtub in our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“This property is very close to Beaver Lake and has a great view. It had a nice pool and parking right outside your door. It's an older location that's been totally remodeled and even boasts remote controlled AC. Very close to restaurants and many different Marina's and shops. My hats off to whoever picked out the updated room fixtures and décor.”
