“Perfect accommodations for the 3 nights we were there. Ample parking and quiet community with shops and restaurants withing walking distance. One air conditioning window unit in living/kitchen area with ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Weather was not hot and humid during our visit so this was not an issue. Only challenge we had were with restaurants closing early or saying they were open online until a certain time and then closed when we arrived. Owner answered our messages very promptly. ...

“The Writer's Studio is very a comfortable and tucked away little cottage. I was pleased with all the, privacy while still being in easy proximity to the bustle of woodstock. It was clean and had everything I needed for my visit. At night remember to look at the stars. ”

“The town of Woodstock is about 15 minutes away. The view of the Catskills was incredible from the back screened in porch. Nice and clean and well equipped. ”

“We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. As others may have mentioned, there is some noise from the nearby train track and bars, but that didn’t bother us much. We really appreciated the noise cancelling machine that was provided. One suggestion for improvement would be to make it explicit to guests that the backyard (incl. grill & hot tub) are shared between the upstairs and downstairs units. As guests in the upstairs unit, it felt awkward to hang out in the backyard,...

“Beautiful lakeside getaway, cozy studio with cottage vibe, lovely quiet non-motorboat lake. Lots of good restaurants in Red Hook and Rhinebeck, roadside farm stands everywhere. Owners very nice, responsive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.”

“Very nice, small apartment. Very clean and comfortable. There was no cross ventilation, but the AC worked fine. Great place for a night or two and conveniently located near wedding venues. I would have liked to know in advance that the street number was not on the mailbox on the road, but figured it out. Probably best to ask for a landmark. We would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“This house was a little piece of heaven tucked away on the Esopus Creek. The house provided 2 paddleboards and 2 kayaks, all of which we used.At first glance, the creek is not very inviting because of the algae, but when you get to the middle of the creek, it is very clear.There is also a hot tub, ping pong table and lots of games.The house was nicely decorated and plenty of room for 10 of us. “Lovely home in a central location! Fabrice's place was perfect for our weekend in Hudson. Fully set with everything we needed, easy parking, great communication. Comfy bed and cozy blankets. We could walk everywhere we wanted to be from morning fresh pastries to fabulous dinners out. We will definitely book here again next time we are in Hudson - the perfect home away from home!”
