“The Crystalbrook in Newcastle was a pleasant stay for a weekend. The rooftop bar was great, though very busy and they weren't wrong - you need to book for dinner! The room was great, everything is fairly new so it was clean and not worn out. Location is walkable to lots of local attractions, Darby St and the waterfront are all walkable if you're able to. ”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Contacted about getting an extra towel and it arrived within minutes. Great location easy to get around the city. They are upgrading their rooms ours was not updated yet, downfall was the bathroom. Shower was in the bath and very small, mould in the shower curtain and grout all coming away. But that should all be fixed with updating. Felt a bit expensive for an outdated room. ”

“Block out blinds didn't completely fit windows, so light streamed in at each end. Toothpaste on sink, no shower gel or shampoo in containers. Terrible smell coming from bathroom, the sink was blocked. Did not report at the time due to having to be at the hospital until very late, but reported at check out, was told that a note will be left for housekeeping. We would not stay again”
