“Soluzione molto interessante per la buona posizione rispetto al centro di York (5 mins con taxi) e la bellezza del contesto. L'hotel ricavato presumo da una farm house di qualche secolo fa è accogliente e in ottime condizioni di conservazione, ben manutentato e efficiente. Il personale è estremamente cortese e disponibile. Bellissimo il parco e il giardino botanico / orto nella parte posteriore della struttura. Camere, almeno quelle esterne in cortile, di dimensioni non esagerate ma...

“there was enough parking, staff was excellent, breakfast could have been better, there was no Croissants second day for the kids to have, they can improve on there bakery items at breakfast, overall good experience..”

“This hotel is amazing. We’ve been coming here as a family of 4 for over 7 years and every time it’s great. We’ve especially come for the pool and breakfast which are both excellent. I’d like to highlight the exemplary breakfast staff who do their upmost to make sure it’s special. Special hot chocolate? No problem. Special hot muffins? No problem. We use the family sized rooms and they’re great for a family of 4 with 2 big kids.”

“Great experience. The building is quaint, cozy, with a unique design and interior decoration. Beautiful dining area and bar. The room (ground floor), was spacious and with a lovely art deco interior. Very nice shower with good water pressure, nice choice of shower gels and other amenities. The plumbing in the toilet was a bit iffy, but nothing too serious. Very comfortable bed, with soft pillows (this is my preference so I was happy with it). “Pros- Good pool. Great breakfast with wide variety. Lovely restaurant staff. Lovely maintenance staff. Good location a little away from the centre. Some nice restaurants nearby. Plenty of space for paid parking. Comfy beds. Accomodates kids well. Cons- Sewage smell from basin. Reception staff seem a little more overwhelmed than other staff. Signs of wear all over the room - carpets, broken lamp, superficial damage/scratches to bathtub. ”

“The ibis hotel in York was in a good location, within walking distance to everything. The hotel was very quiet and the rooms were nicely updated and well kept. The staff at the front desk were great and very helpful. I didn't us the breakfast so cannot comment on that. ”
