“This is an excellent location for the nightly rate. Every hotel inside the beltway was 300+ a night plus parking fees and no continental breakfast. No, not a big buffet lineup of items to eat but good coffee and muffins. The rooms are clean and the maid service great. Negative was no glasses in the room or extra blankets. For the money this room was worth it. We will stay there again!”

“We had the 2 bedroom suite downstairs. Very quiet and comfortable. Perfect for sleeping. Dark and cool. Very clean. Breakfast was nothing the brag about. Store bought danish/mini muffins/bagels/english muffin. Choice of eggs. Didnt see a meat or potato choice. Just eggs cooked your way or Western omlet. First day there was no bread for toasting. “I would not recommend this place. The loft was dirty when we arrived, dirt on the rug and black hairs in the shower and in the bed . The room was also about 80 degrees . We were running late for our meeting due to traffic so couldn’t address this at the time. At about 11:30pm we came back and just got our things . I sent the owner a message and asked for some kind of refund . I get that the place is old but at least make sure it’s clean . So now we were exhausted from the drive and the training...

“We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax.”
