“The restrurant had terrible service. Waited for 20 minutes to get waited on and once order was put in waited for over an hour and canceled our order. Will not eat at the Iowa Stater.”

“Highly disappointed in cleanliness and upkeep of property. Overall quite dirty and run down. Was not up to Fairfield Inn standards. Staff was extremely accommodating and tried to make things ok for us. Due to event in the area, there were no options to move. Would never stay there again.”

“First of all, they had our reservation dates wrong. There was a vacancy which we did take. The room was very compact but clean. The AC unit was terribly noisy which made sleeping very difficult. There was no way to contact the desk since the clerk was on video. The breakfast buffet was very slim, and the room was extremely hot. I would suggest opening the room and get the AC turned on earlier or leave it on when the weather temperature is in the 90's. There was an actual person taking care...
