“Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. “We had a fantastic time at this cottage and in Wingham. The host made us feel very welcome and was super helpful when we arrived. The cottage is beautiful, and it was a treat to stay in a place like this. Margate is about 30 30-minute drive from Wingham, but there's a seaside closer than that. Canterbury is only 10-15 minutes away, so it was a perfect location for exploring different parts of the local area. We hope we can return next year. ”

“The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. “It was poorly equipped. The furniture was worn out. Two chairs badly damaged and very dangerous. The garden was a tip with a heap of old bottles, cans and empty pizza boxes stacked in one corner. Front wall falling down”

“The owner was responsive and accommodating to our needs. Ideal location for visits to Dover Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and the Battle of Britain memorial/museum. House was clean, quiet and the wood burning fireplace gave the evening a nice feeling of being at home.”

"Posto incantevole, questo edificio immerso nel verde, stuttura con un suo stile, albergo in parte in ristrutturazione, parte delle camere gia ristrutturate, la nostra nonostante è stata ancora da ristrutture presenta un arredamento in stile confortevole e sopratutto pulita. Parcheggio gratuito all'interno del giardino del hotel, dalla strada si fa un pò di difficoltà a trovare la stradina d'entrata tra gli alberi della strada. In zona abbastanza centrale da poter visitare il centro storico di Canterbury a piedi. "

"Posto strategico, ampio parcheggio, visto che eravamo in moto ci hanno fatto parcheggiare in un posto non visibile vicino al hotel, per la sicurezza del mezzo. Un plus alla cortesia del personale della reception. Stanze pulite e confortevoli. C'è la possibilità di una piscina coperta."
