“We had a great stay! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were wanting a nice getaway trip in the woods to see the leaves start to change and this was the perfect spot!We arrived at night and it was still easy to find our cabin by using the sign on property. Checking in was a breeze with self check in.The wifi and cellular service were spotty but we expected that and it wasn’t a problem at all. We were still able to use our phones without any issues.”

“Very clean. Loved the tub. Nice to have owners close/on site. Much better than dealing with a "rental company". Very spacious without feeling like wasted space. Just and FYI, if you're coming in winter, pay attention to the weather. The driveway can be a little dicey with snow. ”

“Very cozy and warm! Beautifully decorated and very clean! Loved the fire pit and that all we had to do was light it. Bed was very comfortable as was the double recliner. Great place for a romantic getaway in the cold winter months! We did not take advantage of the kitchen, but it looked like it had everything you could need if you wanted to cook some meals.”

“The Captain’s Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)…. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captain’s Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie...

“The cabin was clean and neat. Most of the burners on the stove didn't work but we managed. There is no mention of the steep gravel hill to get to the cabin. We had a lot of trouble getting up the hill in a front wheel drive suv. Overall it was a nice stay but it would have been nice to know ahead about the driveway and the cabin could use some maintenance. ”
