“The front desk was very friendly with no wait. The room was very clean and the extra amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion very much appreciated. Greatly appreciated being on the first floor. First time there and will definitely consider on next trip. Thank you for everything.”

“We only stayed one night arrived quite late and left early.The staff was very outgoing, ready to accommodate anything that we would’ve needed or asked for. We left quite early in the morning, but they had coffee and crinkle ready at 6 AM. They helped carry our luggage to the car very helpful.”

There was no coffee makers in the rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It wasn’t bad for a night or two. There were a couple restaurants right next to the motel but Iron ridge is a really small town so there isn’t much around there, including a breakfast restaurant. “The front desk staff when we checked in was so helpful and kind. The outside of the hotel was not updated but a wonderful perk is the vintage rose garden outside of the hotel. Absoulutely beautiful varieties of roses from so long ago. They were breath taking. I would return just to view and smell the roses again. Thank you Super 8!”

“I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. So we called the number on the office door, and were told that the room with one bed is all they had available. If we wanted to wait until someone could come from...

“Amazing antique woodwork in hotel - beautifully maintained/restored.”

“The room smelled like black mold. It didn’t look like or smell like the linen had been changed in months. We couldn’t sleep the 1st night. We went to Walmart to get Fabreze to spray down the bed, bedding, and room in general. When we asked for a clean blanket, we were told blankets weren’t available. We will never stay there again, nor at any Days Inn.”

“The bedroom was clean, but our bathroom was gross! Hair all over in the shower and dirty! The toilet had been flushed and full of hair too. Was disappointing.”

“I believe the HVAC for the building or another machine was near my bedroom. The noise was coming between the bathroom and bedroom. You could hear it turn on and off and this would not let me sleep and my daughter who was supposed to take her ACT the next morning. When it was on you could hear the noise. Staff was friendly, room was clean and breakfast was fine. But do not stay in room 317 if you want to sleep well. Not sure if the whole building is like this. ”

“Hotel is a fabulous gem. Modern amenities but maintaining the character and history of the hotel. Luggage cart wheels were flat. Might not seem like a big deal until you try to use them! Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Great location.”
