You're confronted with signage taped to the glass telling you everything you don't get and aren't allowed to do. “Had a lovely renovated suite with comfortable bed and pillows. The desk night lady had no personality and seemed to be grumpy. She didn't correctly guide me to the right elevator. Im not sure if the attached sports bar falls under this review but they were severely understaffed with one bartender trying to manage large crowd. At night had difficulty getting a food order. “When we arrived, the hotel appears old, not updated and dingy. Hoping the room would be better we found that it smelled of cigarettes and dirty. We do not recommend this hotel. The front desk clerk was considerate and helpful to cancel our stay. ”

“Everything was wonderful. Clean rms, clean everywhere inside and out. Smelled good too!! The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the bathroom mirror was so high I could only see the top of my head. Granted I am only 4'10 but if the mirror was just four inches lower it would have been better. But I was able to use the other mirrors in the rm to get myself ready for the day so it was only a minor inconvenience. Highly recommend this hotel...

“Parking was easy and secure. We missed having breakfast. At the present time, proprietors are only able to provide coffee & recommended a local bakery where we purchased delicious scones. I would advise older adults with mobility issues to try to book carriage as Eliza room and other rooms in house required climbing long staircase. Fortunately Ben, one of proprietors, offer to carry our luggage. Overall it was a positive experience. ”
