“This was a last minute stay. Our plane was cancelled and we needed a room for the night, near the airport. We called the hotel when we arrived at the airport, for a shuttle. The shuttle runs 3:30 am to 11:30 pm.
Luckily, we arrived little before 11 pm and the shuttle was able to pick us up. The front desk was very prompt and helpful at check in. We found the room to be large and clean. The hotel is an older Holiday Inn Express. Some of their furnishings were aged and stained.

“Clean room, safe and secure inside, could benefit from an in room safe. Mostly quiet. I liked the water in the reception area. Adequate for the price point. I wasn’t used to the socio-economic conditions in downtown Dallas. It did feel edgy walking around in the area of the hotel. I understood the authorities are working hard to improve safety in downtown, significant police and security evident and very friendly and supportive of tourists.”
