Hotel a Lanesville

“The river was the highlight of our stay. Looking out our back window of our room we could see all kinds of birds and geese in the grass field and in the water of the Housitonic River”

“Nonostante il preavviso di una settimana non sono riuscita ad entrare in contatto con i gestori per cancellare la prenotazione ed avere un rimborso ( unico modo era un contatto telefonico ma dall'italia complicato) Sarebbe andato bene anche un rimborso parziale, nulla. Alla mail con la mia richiesta non ho mai ricevuto risposta, al mio non apparire in stanza nemmeno. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno: nel mezzo della campagna senza nessun tipo di assistenza”

“Because of the storm the road i was coming from in new fairfield was completely closed so there was no way to get to the hotel so i paid for the hotel for no reason”

“The room was ok, no tissues, no iron, no ice machine, no microwave, not a good tv, hallway rug very dirty, very poor washcloths and towels and a bug in the bathroom. We will not be staying there again!”

“Staff was great, the room was spotless and everything was great. My only gripe is that it no longer has a pool. Does have a 24hr gym though!”

“I expected the quality to be somewhat low, but what concerned me most was the lack of safety. When we arrived at the parking lot, there were three men smoking marijuana, and they even approached us offering food and trying to talk to us. I don’t understand why the hotel does not manage people gathering in the parking area and allows guests to be affected like this. It felt very unsafe, and I could not even leave the room. I was also worried that our car might be stolen, so I could not sleep...

“Perfect place to stay the night. You can hear the train passing by, but there are ear plugs and a white noise machine in the room. It didn't bother us at all, but it might other folks”

“Good hotel. Room was clean and large. The kitchen had a microwave, mini fridge and sink. No utensils or plates provided, just some paper cups for coffee. No dishsoap. Shampoo had a strong mint additive that burned the skin. The breakfast was a bit poor. Just prepackaged muffins or bagels with egg. Not even toast or cereal. Coffee was good.”
