I expected it to be loud as it is the boat rental and dock, but by 7 or so each night it was quiet and a great location. My only small suggestion is to have a larger coffee maker. The lodge has everything you would expect of a log cabin in the woods - huge comfortable furniture, beautiful fireplaces, very comfortable beds --- PLUS this is sprawling.
