“We stayed at Hyatt House to celebrate a birthday and had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating from start to finish. They upgraded our room as a courtesy, which was a really nice surprise, and had wine set out along with a birthday card for him when we arrived.

“Definitely a different hotel from standard downtown. Fits Austin well! Oriented to outside living (bar, pool, restaurant, etc.) so not so great in January when we visited, but likely good other times of the year. Right in the middle of restaurant and other activities which have now spread to the east of IH35. (They were only to the west of IH35 when we knew Austin back when!)”

“Our room was spotless, the beds comfortably, the staff kind and gracious. The location was perfect for us. Short walk to the local bars and restaurants. “For whatever reason I was charge circa 300usd extra and they do not respond my messages on hotels.com… I had booked a larger room but informed upon arrival that they had that type of room booked for the first night and therefore I had to be downgraded. Not only I was not offered a reimburse for the night on a lower category room but after checking my account I have been charged extra 287.4$ for no reason. I wrote to the hotel days ago and I still have not received any answer…”
