“The floor was covered in chicken and goose droppings because there were no fences and many chickens and geese ran around, even pooping in front of your room. The outdoor hot tub was completely unusable, and the tub was full of leaves, mud, and dust. It looks like no one has ever cleaned it.I messaged the host on the day I checked in saying there was no hot water outside, but they didn't reply until the next day when I was about to check out.”

“Address listing was incorrect ( it’s “road” not “drive”) so took an extra hour to find location because host wasn’t accessible except by message. Once we were able to reach him he was very curt and somewhat dismissive instead of helpful. Location was as shown on website but the interior had a lot of items that showed it was”lived in” ( long hairs in bathroom, groceries in kitchen storage, very old, used kitchen items- dishes, glassware). “Everyone was friendly. The host was very responsive and great to chat with. The cottage was cozy and well stocked. I was surprised at how quiet everything was being so close to the freeway. I think I only notice one loud car and one loud motorcycle the three days we were there, which is a lot less than what I hear in my parent’s neighborhood in south San Jose. It was a very relaxing stay, and we LOVE the cactus outside of the front door! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely place to stay!”

“Safe walkable area is the best part. No frills, on my last visit there were multiple spiders in my bathroom and the curtains were absolutely covered in nasty stains or spillage that seriously needs to be given attention. All of the rooms need curtain cleaning. ”

“This cottage provided a wonderful stay for us. The host was so attentive and the accommodations felt more like a boutique hotel than a rental property. The home and property were beautiful and we would highly recommend staying here!”
