“Small, compact room where the space is extremely well considered. Lovely subtle - but - effective design flourishes, and simple gestures that mean the room is very useable and comfortable. Reminiscent of another of my favourite hotels - The Standard X in Fitzroy, Melbourne. “My partner and I stayed here for our 2 year wedding anniversary and the staff could not have been nicer!! They were so lovely from check in to check out making sure we had what we needed and providing that beautiful location for us to stay in. The decor in the house and our room in particular was stunning, rich and colourful. We would 100% recommend staying here as it’s only a 2 minute walk to the train station that takes you practically everywhere around Auckland!! Thank you Aachen House :))”
