Appartamenti a Mackenzie Basin

“Overall, we had a good stay. Couldn’t ask for a better location, we ate in the hotels restaurant and had a great meal. The room was clean and had nice amenities. However, it wasn’t an overly comfortable stay due to the bed. The mattress was an old spring mattress and it was had and uncomfortable. I woke up at 5:30am and moved to the couch.”

“This was our favorite stay in NZ! We were in the Tekapo room with direct views of the gorgeous turquoise lake, mountains, and Church of the Good Shepherd. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine at nigh, sitting on our private patio overlooking the lake. The room is fabulously appointed - very eclectic! It literally took 2 minutes to walk to the city center then down to the lake. We had a toaster, microwave and fridge - all we needed to enjoy a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. Really...

“The amazing views of Lake Tekapo and the snow-capped mountains in the backdrop were stunning, making it a great place to just relax! Our suite was very clean, spacious, well-appointed and equipped with all modern appliances as well as great connectivity to the internet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom included a huge bath tub, perfect for a nice warm soak! The kitchen had all the basic necessities to make full meals. Parking was conveniently located in front of the unit.”

“After a long journey, arrived to a room that had not been cleaned from last guests. Called owner to complain and he offered us the room next door which was prepared fro new guests. We accepted but felt the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. We asked for a discount but was refused. I felt it was overpriced. ”

“Very clean. There is a tiny view of the lake and you are one house off the main road so it’s noisy on the deck. The mountains are pretty but, Looks much more like there is a big view than there is. ”

“Thanks for hosting us.”

“Super cute and well equipped house close to the centre. heated bathroom with heated tiles. Our favourite part was the beautiful views of the lake and snow capped mountains from the back patio, even spotted some bunnies.”

“The only thing we had problem we encountered was no written instructions how to operate the 2 in 1 washer/dryer. We washed our clothes without problems. But, couldn’t figure out how to operate the “dryer” mode. We had to go look for a laundry mat to dry our clothes.”

“A great appartment, fully equipped and furnished. Perfect for couples and families”

“Very clean well appointed accommodation. We stayed in the 2 bedroom section, beds comfy and quiet location. ”

“My husband and I stayed here for one night. It was a quick stop on our drive so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room. Pros: It was clean The bed was comfyThings were newCons: - Lulu was very specific about her house rules. It seemed harsh to threaten a charge of 200 nz for not doing dishes when the whole place was 420. - the washer dryer combo sucked. We did one load of laundry. The dryer took 4 hours and the clothes were still wet. I tried to run it again and ended the cycle before going...

“Very nice home. It was well equipped and clean. Especially enjoyed each room having its own bathroom. Good communication from the hosts and was pretty close to the town center. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Great location, nice house for a group”

“Overall very good. A few other basics like coffee, shampoo would have been helpful. ”
