“Lovely helpful host. Great well appointed unit, spacious and everything we needed. The heaters kept us cosy after we woke to -1 degree in the morning. Thank you for the great user friendly laundry facilities. We felt the hot water system could have been better. The shower was weak and hard to get really hot and we boiled the kettle to wash the dishes.”

“We got upgraded to the Hermitage because of limited capacity during winter season. It was a nice upgrade in terms of us getting complimentary breakfast but it also meant that we could not cook our own food. There was no kitchenette at the Hermitage. The Hermitage was an old hotel and honestly has seen better days. It is dated but at least it is clean. Breakfast spread was great too.”

“Nice and close to Fairlie township. Walkable to restaurants, coffee and, of course, the pies. Little bit of road noise (it’s approx 40m from main road to Tekapo). Very nice arriving after hours with keys in the door and unit warmed up by a heater😀 Just all too easy!”
