“This place was perfect. It had the lake view of Lake Tekapo, and an accessible door to walk straight out to the lake. It was directly across the bridge and had the most scenic view. The room was spacious. Loved the heated restroom floors and towel heaters. It was so close to the food area and gas station, about a 5 minute walk. Love the accessibility to everything. The staff was extremely helpful with the checkin. Couldnt have had a much easier experience. ”

“Loved the convenient carpark porch and the spacious, comfortable room and living area. The toilet basin was very tiny, so we ended up using the laundry basin instead — thank you for the complimentary laundry facilities. It would be great to have a dustbin in the toilet for added convenience.”

“We got upgraded to the Hermitage because of limited capacity during winter season. It was a nice upgrade in terms of us getting complimentary breakfast but it also meant that we could not cook our own food. There was no kitchenette at the Hermitage. The Hermitage was an old hotel and honestly has seen better days. It is dated but at least it is clean. Breakfast spread was great too.”

“Classico grand hotel, in posizione strategica all'inizio dei principali trail del parco. Per quello che costa però la camera non è niente di speciale, il parcheggio è sproporzionatamente piccolo per gli ospiti, il personale di reception e sala alla colazione con cui abbiamo avuto a che fare era giovane e/o inesperto... Ma in un posto così vivi di rendita...”
