“Classico grand hotel, in posizione strategica all'inizio dei principali trail del parco. Per quello che costa però la camera non è niente di speciale, il parcheggio è sproporzionatamente piccolo per gli ospiti, il personale di reception e sala alla colazione con cui abbiamo avuto a che fare era giovane e/o inesperto... Ma in un posto così vivi di rendita...”

“Great camping option just outside MT Cook national park. We stayed in cabin with three bunk beds. Communal kitchen was fun to meet other campers especially students and families. Shower house was big and plenty of hot water. Much more affordable the hotels in the park. ”

“First of all the view is amazing!
Clean, spacious rooms. There is plenty of space for luggage and any hiking equipment. The heated floors are a nice touch and the large radiator heater gets the room nice and toasty.
Having a kitchen is convenient as dining options are limited (and expensive) buy what you need beforehand in Twizel.
There is also a laundry which is handy as you'll be getting dirty clothes on your daily hikes.
Staff are friendly and helpful.”

“Very friendly staff, a lovely view out over the lake and although close to bus stops and backpackers, very quiet.
A microwave would have been great to reheat meals but otherwise well equiped and clean. Close to everything including the supermarket, cafes and Dark Sky.
It was a very relaxing 2 nights there.”

“Clean, tidy unit in a quiet suburb within walking distance of the main town strip. The bed was comfortable, the internet stable, the aircon was quiet and efficient and the tv was huge. There were some nice tea/coffee amenities and they had ecostore brand shampoo and body soap which I appreciated. Easy check-in and check-out process, would stay here again. ”

“Neue Ausstattung, es gab sogar Heizdecken im Bett und die Aussicht auf die Berge ist wahnsinnig schön. Wir konnten täglich den Sonnengang und Sonnenuntergang aus dem Bett beobachten! Eine tolle Unterkunft, die wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden.”
