“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and spacious. Ample parking, pool area was nice and clean, free laundry room service, continental breakfast was good, fitness room was clean. Stayed one night in a 2 queen bedroom suite with 3 adults, we all were very comfortable in the room which had a lovely kitchenette area with a large refrigerator, sink and dish washer. “My daughter & I wanted to visit Skaneateles. Nightshade was just a 10-15 minute drive. Looks like 1950s motel from the road, but very cute, clean & well kept. Our room was as nice or even nicer than some upscale, expensive places I’ve stayed. Very clean, sleek & stylish. The bathroom was gorgeous! Looked recently remodeled. “The lodge is probably a great place for people heading out fishing. If this is not your case I would look elsewhere .the rooms were comfortable but very basic. There were no screens on the windows, so you couldn't get any fresh air. The cleaning products they use have such a strong odor it turned my stomach. The toilet backed up the second day. At least it was quiet.”
