“The location is fantastic for first time visitors. Everyone was pleasant and the view was amazing. The room was better than we ever expected. The two things that I didn’t like had nothing to do with The Whaler. One was ocean was so loud at night you couldn’t sleep with window open. That’s all mother nature at its purest. “Stayed in Kauhale Makai 102 for 7 nights. A few suggestions: -since it is a studio, consider upgrading the refrigerator to a quieter model that does't sound like a noisy engine running right next to you ! - the mattress needs replacing, very saggy in the middle and way too soft”

“The place was not stocked up well and the appliances like coffee machine were dirty. Things were minimally maintained abd the beach equipment was so dirty and smelly, I had yo wash the beach towels before using it and beach chairs wete all stained and smelly. But overall it was clean.”
