“Fantastic location for visiting campus!”

“There was nobody at the front desk to check us in. After a long day of traveling, we did not need to wait to get to our room. There was no housekeeping service even though we were staying 3 nights unless a special request was made. The tv did not work, and when we called for assistance nobody answered. There was no coffee at breakfast as well as waffle batter. Disappointing for the price we paid to stay there.”

“Economical way to stay as close to the Duke University Medical Center without breaking the bank. Ideal for student familles and visitors to the medical center No onsite restaurant but a pantry where you can buy basic microwave meals . We stayed in a suite which was twice the size of a normal hotel room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed . ”

“Very convenient to the Durham Bulls Ballpark and the Durham Performing Arts Center. Both located together, with Aloft in the middle.”

“Poor plumbing!! The sink kept clogging up..there were hair on the “clean” towels!! Overall the place seems to be falling apart from neglect!! The carpet smells super musty!! However, the location is great!!”

“Enjoyed the roof top but long wait times. I had to 2 free drink tickets but they weren’t given to me at check in so I never used them. My room had all the set up for coffee including a coffee pot but no coffee or creamer. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.”

“Out of in room Nespresso coffee pods throughout entire stay. Entire floor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Fire alarm was going off throughout evening /night. Will not stay here again. ”

“We really like this property. Right next to a small pond, surrounded by trees, very convenient to the freeway and to a Greenway to walk or run in the morning, across from Aldi and food options. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, room was great and on the back of the hotel and sides it overlooks trees or a pond. We did not notice any noise from the highway. Great hotel.”

“The staff was wonderful!!! With the stressful reason I was there they were so friendly and helpful. The cafe was great I ate there multiple times during my stay. The staff made me feel very welcome that I would definitely go back. ”
