“We fell in love with this charming property and would definitely stay again. We knew there was no food, so we brought in dinner, breakfast and snacks. The shared kitchen was enormous, with several large refrigerators, and all appliances, pans, utensils, condiments, etc. that could be needed. “Advertisement is extremely misleading. The rooms are not "sound proof" in slightest. The heater went out in mine at night. This is likely because it is a jury rigged space heater that was stuck in the wall at some point to replace another heating method. The heater in the bathroom did not work at all and there was no blinds. This allowed someone to see into parts of the room at night and you would not be able to tell (there were thin curtains). Critically, into the bathroom is one of these...

“An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.”
