“Clean room and delicious breakfast!”

“If you are traveling for history and historic beauty this is the place, but like a very old Jaguar, even when restored is going to be a bit...unreliable. The hot water, once you turned on all the taps to get it, lasted three minutes...if you are old or disabled, the stairs are a challenge, the AC struggles to keep the room cool and this is when we are not in a heat wave...no refrigerator to keep your food cool, either. It is a beautiful hotel, but not a practical place...like an old Jaguar.”

“We had a great day at the Best Western Lamplighter! The pool was fantastic and a huge hit with the kids. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only thing to note is the on-site restaurant there isn’t included. Other than that, we had a great stay and would stay here again in the future!”

The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, a huge thank you to Rachel and Pamela whose kindness made the stay that much more memorable and enjoyable. Breakfast has some changes to it day-to-day which is good if you get bored of the same food day in day out.
