“A bit strange with the shower situation, but the room was cozy, clean, a nice selection of snack items, and the staff was super friendly. It's not going to be for people looking for 5 star room service, but for the price I paid, I will definitely be back again during my further travels to Austin.”

“1. Front desk staff- rude and condescending-not helpful. 2. Breakfast was horrible- peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Would not replenish items for breakfast. Staff would close breakfast off an hour before time was posted 3. Shower pressure was a trickle and hot water took along time to luke warm. 4. Ice machine not working. 5. Only 1 elevator working.”

“This hotel looked like it gave up on life years ago. The carpet was so filthy it looked like it had survived multiple natural disasters and never once seen a vacuum. Stains everywhere, nasty smell, and the floors felt sticky enough to steal your shoes. The entire place is in horrible shape. Peeling walls, worn-out furniture, and everything looked dirty, old, and neglected. “For whatever reason I was charge circa 300usd extra and they do not respond my messages on hotels.com… I had booked a larger room but informed upon arrival that they had that type of room booked for the first night and therefore I had to be downgraded. Not only I was not offered a reimburse for the night on a lower category room but after checking my account I have been charged extra 287.4$ for no reason. I wrote to the hotel days ago and I still have not received any answer…”

“My husband and I stayed at Homewood because we were celebrating our anniversary. I loved the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast had a nice variety. The staff were friendly. Especially the front desk staff. It was easy to check in and check out. We will be staying again.”
