“Great for the money. Nothing fancy. But perfectly fine for a night of sleep i needed while traveling. Room was fine and clean. ”

“Although upon arrival, we were quite put off by the exterior condition and appearance of this old Quality Inn, once in our room, most everything seemed updated and clean. The beds and bedding were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and the shower worked well. The heater was suitably quiet too. The TV was like any other motel TV's. Like the "by Wyndham" franchises, in this case..a "Choice Hotels" franchise buys up old hotel chains and specializes in giving renovation advantages to...

“We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. “The town and the inn were beautiful! We had dinner at the tavern connected to the inn. Then we walked to The Creamery (delicious). The room was very nicely done and had little extras (popcorn and candy from a local business). The whole place seemed like a Hallmark movie inn. Definitely stay there again!”
