“I asked for help to figure out the air con and then all was good. It was a stressful journey, but the staff couldnt have done more to help me have as relaxing an experience as possible. All very good at their jobs and very friendly, nothing was too much bother. “The hotel felt very homely, with a warm informal reception. It’s quite huge inside with many corridors creating a feeling of discovery. I have to give a special call out to the restaurant. Great menu and my choice was exceptional in every way. Service & food brilliant. Our room was the Thomas More suite; happily we escaped with heads intact!! Cavernous room with sufficient sockets. Didn’t really trust the old plumbing so avoided the shower. Would be in our shortlist should we stay in...
