Hotel a Oxenholme

“We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). ”

“The room was in some what of a good condition apart from the pervious persons rubbish under the bed and the cobwebs above the bed limited heating with no control of it found ourselves rather cold throughout our time in the room. ”

“Lovely characterful property. Room and bed clean and comfortable. The young lady behind the bar who also served breakfast was exceptional. ”

“Homey inn, good breakfast, convenient location. Layout of the single differed from the photo, with an awkward placement of the television hovering over the bed, which was also a bit soft and wobbly. Other rooms likely more comfortable. Complimentary drink when forgoing room cleaning was a nice touch. ”

“Our stay was fabulous. Its an amazing place with amazing staff and food. Beds and rooms we're immaculate. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 star was the dogs barking late at night. Don't know of they were inside or out or both but it was on going for quite a while. Will be back though ”

“Room was great with amazing views. Friendly and lovely staff.. Great location. Also, high compliments for the food we had there. We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. Will be going back for sure. ”

“What a pleasant place this was. We had food in the Dolly bar and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and had everything you could want If I was being picky it would of been lovely to of seen outside lights from the bar so you could see the river in the dark”

“Room was really comfortable but it is noisy until around 11pm when restaurant closes. Food was excellent. Absolutely worth a visit. Staff really friendly. ”
