“This hotel allows pets, so the neighbors dog woke up early and didn't stop barking since 6am. In my room, there were some dead bugs on the floor, and it smelled moist/wet. The room was still good amd comfortable. I slept well when thedog was gonethe next day. The food was good, with eggs and sausage served. The staff is not the approachable type, but they still provided good amicable service when I asked for extra laundry bags.”

“The only reason for not giving this place 5 stars, was the elevator. It is like something out of a horror show 😆 The room was clean, a tad dated but comfy! I enjoyed my stay overall! Definitely going back!”

“During the night right after we retired (around 12 or 12:30 pm) several individuals were on the sidewalk right next to our unit #101 Efficiency King. They were talking very loud (sometimes shouting) and had rap music playing loudly. (It sounded like they were in the next room of OUR suite! After listening to it for over an hour, we called the front desk to complain. It took 2 calls to the desk and over an hour before they were quiet. The breakfast was also very disappointing!”

“First of all, although we decided the night before to go to Iowa City to visit family, I was happy that there was a room available on the Fourth of July. The front desk person was very nice and of course that's very important. The hotel smells of cigarette smoke and It seems to be in the carpet, etc perhaps because of the years when smoking was allowed in the hotel. I reserved two rooms.
