“Great location. Within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and wineries.”

“The location is good because it’s close to the university. The hotel room had a smell that did not go away. One of the towels had a stain. We had a double bed. The mattress to one bed was so bad you could feel the bed springs. So we moved to the other bed that was a bit better. If all you are doing is going to sleep there then I guess it’s ok. We did not have the breakfast or dinner so do not know how that was.”

“I had to leave a day early during my 3 night stay. The manager took the time to work with booking company and get me a refund.”

“Breakfast choices were good. Thanks for real yogurt with protein! We liked the huge window in our room (4th floor) and it was like TV for our dog.”

“The rooms were clean and well stocked. The doors to the rooms are loud and sound like people slamming the doors.”

“Clean room, easy parking, peaceful”

“Everything was great, except there was a constant leak in the bathroom on the floor between the stool and the sink and in front of the sink. Large puddles of water that required towels to mop them up and the lightbulb in the bathroom kept blinking after the light was left on after 30 seconds. It was reported to the front desk, but nothing was done. It was Memorial Day weekend, and it would have been difficult to find someone to fix it. It didn't spoil our stay, though.”

“The stay was amazing. Great food, great friendly staff.”

“The description was “Room, 2 Queen beds, non smoking, kitchenette”. The pictures listed were not what we got. The kitchenette refrigerator was from 1954! There were no dishes, glasses even. There were people hanging around outside, definitely used for long time stays, because there’s nothing to do in Williamsburg. We were told by others to get out. So we did. Do not stay here.”

“Shower need to be re-caulked. Coffee machine at breakfast delivered half water. No hot or warm water in the morning for a shower before 7:30- 8:00. Immigrant attendant didn't answer the front desk phone and was not helpful. Could barely speak understandable English. When I inquired about no hot water, the reply was: The maintenance man doesn't come until 8:30. No more La Quinta hotels for us. Don't recommend this hotel.”

“I’m not sure how this hotel scores so well. It’s an aging property. My room was falling apart: the sink handle comes off in hand. The hot water handle doesn’t work, the shower was moldy. The lamp shades were all askew. Honestly this is what I have come to expect of a property rated 6 or lower. ”

“The staff was very positive and excited to see the guests. It's very refreshing to see people really enjoy their jobs. The variety and taste of the food was awesome as usual. The room was large and very clean. I love staying at Drury Inns during my travels!”
