“We wished the lovely bar downstairs stayed open a bit longer. The bartender was VERY nice and the ambiance was perfect. We wish we could have had a reason to patronize the place later in the evening.”
“For those that may not be comfortable staying in a well-known chain, I would say that this motel is leaps and bounds better than any chain motel I have stayed in (admittedly usually stay in a hotel, but this one was the only room available). This motel was one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in with the most pleasant owner. I would 100% stay here again. “Everything was great at this hotel, I’m excited to see what it looks like once the renovations are complete, the ONLY complaint I had was I walked in to the breakfast area with my little dog, I wasn’t staying I was walking through and the lady working the sausage and grits ran up on me stating no pets in the dining room so I told my husband to eat and I walked out of that area with that lady following me. I stopped in the doorway arch well away from food, tables etc and she’s yelling YOUR FOOT...
