“The room was clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and the pub had a nice little gameroom. We hiked the trail down to the river and the view was fantastic.”

“A unique historical property with understated elegance. Well preserved but with modern convenience. The Clara suite was airy, bright, and comfortable. The complementary sherry was a nice touch tho not our cup of tea. Dinner was excellent with impeccable service ”

“Our day was good the only thing I have to complain about is the hot tub in the room took almost 2 hours to fill it up because the hot water just barely trickled so it literally took 2 to 2 1/2 hours to fill the hot tub up which was absolutely ridiculous”

“The staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating, the property is clean and the grounds are well kept. There are a few things that need attention, but nothing a good handyman can’t fix. I prefer this hotel b. The wi-if is free, the staff are so nice, and the hotel is very quiet. It is located at the perfect end of town, across the street from the best restaurant in Garberville, the greatest thrift store, and the only real grocery store in town.”
