Hotel a Piqua

“Room and bathroom were clean. The first day there was zero hot water so I took a very cold shower. And they really need to designate a smoking section that is not the front door! There were absolutely 20 employees and guests out there smoking when I arrived and it smelled awful walking through that. The breakfast was actually fantastic. Plenty of variety and pretty tasty. Oh, and there’s a train track right in front of the hotel which came through with its horn blaring four times throughout the...

“Ants everywhere! Dirty Sheets with visible stains! Tiny, barely usable fitness center. No vent in the bathroom, so after the shower the area is a sauna steam bath. Iron broken and leaking all over my clothes. Fridge worked; nice, big windows; great AC; friendly staff. Would not come back if I had a choice though.”

“We attended a wedding reception in this building in 1972 when it was a rather new Holiday Inn. Its age shows but the current owners are working to update it. Our room was newly remodeled and clean. Advice to owners: don’t shortchange a nice remodel by not replacing the 50+year old plumbing fixtures.”

“The room was clean enough and breakfast was adequate… Air conditioning didn’t work, but I didn’t need it, and staff was had to quit but not willing to go any extra than necessary.”

“Our room was very clean and exactly as advertised. The pool was a tad small, but clean and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I also used the gym which had plenty of equipment and machines to get a good workout in. Breakfast had several options to choose from allowing us to find something for all 5 of us. Definitely would stay again.”

“Pool closed because they are just lazy. Lock on door broke. Moved to a different smelled like weed and smoke. Left after looking at other room. Stuff was horrible and rude. Wanting on Refund for one night we had planned two night.”

“The room was ok. The beds were very, very firm so it was difficult to get comfortable. I didn't sleep very well all 3 nights. There was no microwave, which would have been nice. We only ate breakfast one morning and my husband found a hair in his eggs so he tossed the whole plate. Not sure we'll stay here again.”

“It had been somewhat renovated since the last time there and most of my issue was maybe needing to buy more towels and washcloths and such....they were def well used and discolored.....for the price it was quite ok....also alot quieter since last time with better "neighbors".....”
