“Bedroom was not clean (garbage under covers and bed). Dog poop out in the yard, coffee pot did not work. While the space was generally similar it was different than pictured, very basic, not comfortable. A lot of small damaged things (broken cabinet drawers covered with foam board, broken closet doors, no stopper in sink). Only had 3 bath towels for 6 people. Some rooms upstairs were cold. We stayed our scheduled two nights but would not recommend. The neighborhood was nice. ”

“Very sketchy neighborhood, including smashed liquor bottles at the foot of the porch steps. The online photos of the interior are very misleading. Unit is old, poorly renovated and bare bones furnishings. We quickly discovered the place had not been cleaned since the last occupancy … dusty furniture, stagnant water in the bathroom sink which had an inoperable drain, and dirty sheets on the bed with undeniable evidence too gross to mention. There was also a very noticeable stench of marijuana...

“The rental was not without merit but for every positive there was a dissapointment. The shower was nice but the bathmat was stained from water that repeatedly soaked it from the water that leaked from the door. It had a nice covered front porch to sit on but it was questionable if you wanted to use it. One example was a man yelling as he walked with a long stick hitting signs and posts as he brisky walked up the street. It had a coffee pot but only 2 cups that held hot liquid and did not leak....

“Everything was great! It was perfect for our needs. The street it is on is loud and busy but that is beyond their control! Not super noticeable in the bedrooms, especially downstairs.”

“Our family of four stayed here for 5 nights for a Kettering graduation. The location was wonderful with easy access to groceries and the college. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We enjoyed evening walks around the house and sitting on the deck in the sunshine. Basil was a great host and was responsive when we had questions. We had something that needed fixing and he got it done immediately. I highly recommend!”

“A comfortable place to stay especially its convenience to visiting the National Museum of the US Air Force. Many amenities to include washer, dryer, essential kitchen appliances just to name a few. The living room provides comfortable seating for relaxation. My brother and I stay there when volunteering at the museum.”
