Hotel a New Burlington

“Room had a weird smell, AC unit screeched whenever the fan activated, batteries in remote were dead, no body wash in the shower and rooms are a little faded. Staff was really nice and helpful though and breakfast was very good.”

“Wi-Fi was strong. Price was fair. Nice they had a room safe that was also easy to operate. We didn't use the pool or exercise facilities. They are in the middle of a remodel and I am sure it will look nicer afterwards, but very tired looking now. The room felt damp (too high humidity) even with the air conditioner running. The breakfast staff was very efficient and friendly and kept everything well-stocked. Would appreciate more variety in the hot portion of the breakfast. We stayed for 5 nights...

“I booked this trip through Expedia and paid for it beforehand. The hotel ended up triple charging me the deposit (which I ended up getting back.) But they also charged me for the stay as well. Ive emailed and submitted screenshots of the double payments, bank statements, etc, and still have not gotten my refund. This was in April, and its now end of June. Will never stay here again. Be weary booking this place through Expedia. First time Ive ever had this issue, so Im thankful. But still...

“They only allow one plate at breakfast. The pool looks disgusting.. nothing like the photos. Bathrooms were the best part other then all the soap already being opened and toilet paper already being used… disgusting…”

“The hotel itself was moderately nice and has been remodeled in the last couple years, but it definitely needs normal maintenance (like minor repairs). There were lots of signs to keep your doors double locked for safety (which, I suppose, I appreciate if it is that dangerous). There were tons of people living in the hotel and hanging out in the parking lot most of the night. Ultimately, I appreciated that the room was clean and inexpensive. I definitely would not choose to stay there again,...

“Rooms are OK. Breakfast is good, don't miss. Staff is very friendly. We had an issue booking via Expedia - one room was booked under the reference number and another one went under a name (and could not be linked to a number). But we figured it out together with the staff. Good staff indeed”

“Glad I stayed here through a tornado warning. Nice old hotel with lots of original features. The lack of a front desk person and the inability to use the elevator (though I did not try since prior reviews said it had to be operated by one of them) dinged this hotel. I had no trouble parking, but I arrived late and left early.”
