“Everything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer. Prices are reasonable and on par with others offering a similar service. Breakfast was a limited offering but still very good.

“This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops.
The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent.
Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy)

The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. The pub downstairs serves great food too. Even though it's above a pub, there was no noise at all, and I slept very well. Definitely a room for a solo traveller though! ”

“Really friendly welcome at reception and we quickly got our keys for two twin rooms. The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable.
We used the hotel to stay overnight before a Channel Tunnel crossing which was just 10 minutes away.
It was the cheapest hotel that I could find in the area and exceeded my expectations. The decor was improved from the hotel's appearance on Channel 4's "4 In A Bed" a few years previous.
Slightly disappointed that they don't offer breakfast, but Gingers in Hythe...

My daughter and I have stayed here twice now and we had the same twin room, which is perfect to crash after crazy golf, fun in the sea, shopping and dining! The receptionist was nice and polite, and although we didn’t eat or drink at the hotel I could see a good selection of beverages behind the bar, and the breakfast room looked nice. For the price, this is a great option for a budget...
