Hotel a Putnam

“The hotel is obviously a low cost hotel, but it is in dire need of updating. Hallway carpets were pretty gross looking and the room didn’t even have a closet (it had a door for a closet, but only a pipe inside the door with nothing to hang clothes on). Lights would flicker and come on slowly when you’d turn the switch on. The AC worked but not very well. But it’s quiet and cheap, sufficed for a quick overnight stay for a wedding.”

“Easy and friendly check-in. I believe the owner was always available should he be needed. Had a 2 queen bed room. Quite spacious, good sized fridge and of course coffee maker, microwave etc. Nice Neutrogena soaps provided, and shower water pressure was very good! Everything was really clean...the floor however needed attention. Probably needing to change out mop water more frequently. It was not bad enough to bring up while we were there, but did mention it after. I have no doubt it's been...

“Breakfast was slices of open bread hard as a rock. The owners came and took all the breakfast bars. Rasinbran cereal out in a bowl. Not covered. No milk. Creamer for coffee was all curdled. No mix for waffles. Room was really dirty including dirt and debris under the blanket. Night stands had stuck food and drink. The phone to call the desk was stuck to its base with goo. Desk had food and actual dirt on it. ”

“Lovely rooms and decor. Very thoughfu touches, including water in the rooms and snacks. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety. The host was so accomodating. ”

“Excellent hotel with super nice staff, always eager to help with whatever issues you have, Rooms are big spacious loaded with amenities and the hotel is in a very convenient location offering loads of parking. Highly recommended.”

“Property is kinda run down...seems like owners trying to improve. TV has very poor service...couldn't watch without continuous buffering. No ice machine. Beds were comfortable. Ppl beside us were fighting...could hear TV from neighbors on the other side as well”

“At check in I was told there was an additional $150 service fee that I would be charged and get back in 5 to 7 days after check in. This is ridiculous. I walked out as well as three others that were checking in.”

“I stayed for multiple nights and no one came to change my trash or make my bed that was disappointing. There was no one to help bring bags to the room because they were under staffed. Staff working were so nice and kind and helpful; would improve their work place if they had enough staff to cover the property.”

“Clean room and friendly check in. Location is great.. the Valero gas station next door is one of the locations of “baker’s dozen “… the local amazing bakery. Best bagels, breakfast sandwiches and coffee ever at great prices. Beds are comfortable and showers are hot. I’ll stay here again”

“The staff at front desk were rude! I have been trying to get in touch with a supervisor from this property for over a week now! I paid the full bill for the stay in Expedia and Fairfield Auburn charged me AGAIN for the room and is now refusing to refund my money. On top of all of that, Expedia is refusing to assist. I will NEVER use Expedia and and I will NEVER stay at another Fairfield Inn. Your customer service is pathetic.”
