“Better than advertised ”

“In operation since 1771, amazing service, superb prices in the off season, great amenities on property and nearby. Particularly recommend Annie’s Restaurant for breakfast, 1 mile away? We had two rooms for two nights to visit nearby Old Sturbridge Village - less than 10 minutes away - and were upgraded from Motel rooms to main property rooms. Staff is amazing. Dining room is moderately priced at ~ $22/plate. Desserts were $8 to $10. Highly Recommend!”

“Our stay here was terrible. The room didn’t look or feel like it had been thoroughly cleaned. The sink was disgusting with stains and black mildew. We chose a non-smoking room, but the room still had an odor. Also, the bedding had cigarette burns in them. It doesn’t appear that they launder their linens separately, which isn’t good for guests who are sensitive to smoke. The walls were paper thin, and we could hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. We had to call the front desk to ask if...
