“Members of the staff are all very helpful and friendly. They really are a very attentive, professional team. Although housekeeping and maintenance seems to do an adequate job, the building is showing wear — updates are needed in a number of areas. And I have heard it mentioned that renovations will be underway shortly.”

“This property is showing its age but the staff are doing a great job of keeping it clean and functioning. Every staff member went over and beyond to make it feel like “coming home”. The two front people, Connie and David were exceptional. We met the manager in the morning and she was wonderful as well. Would highly recommend this property based on staff alone but the cleanliness of everything made it perfect. The king bed was very comfortable and water pressure in shower was great.”

“After a great stay in October, we returned to this hotel for a recent trip, but we will never be back. Upon check-in, the front desk agent handed me our keys for the 5th floor and immediately lectured me about keeping my five well-behaved children quiet so they wouldn't disturb the rooms below. As frequent travelers, we found this incredibly odd and off-putting, but I assured him it wouldn't be an issue. We went straight to our rooms and went to sleep. “This is not the place you want to stay if quality is important to you!! One bedroom means a room with no separate bedroom, the fridge was off balance because of a missing wheel, and the room had a musky/moldy odor. The pool was cloudy and dirty. The hot tub is not working, parts of the garden around the pool is overgrown with weeds, and the pool towels were not restocked. “We absolutely loved our stay at River & Twine! It was incredibly clean, felt very safe for me and my daughter, and was so easy to navigate. We especially loved being able to walk to dinner in the evening without having to get back in the car. The tiny homes are charming, comfortable, and made our road trip feel like a vacation instead of just an overnight stop.
